The VALUE FRAMEWORK was created to give startups and product teams a framework to ENSURE profits and that “VALUE” is delivered to a real customer.

Unlike other frameworks, The Value Framework (VFM) takes responsibility for the outcome of it’s recommendations.

VFM is based on three foundational principles.

The Missing curriculum for profitable product development

The Value Framework

We live in an imperfect world. Teams aren’t always self motivated or self organized. It’s difficult to prioritize change over a plan. We often have overbearing boses. Profits are important and teams are humans who cannot sprint forever!

I wrote the book “The Value Framework” to give startups and product teams a framework to profitably create and deliver value to customers.

Unlike other frameworks, The Value Framework (VFM) takes responsibility for the outcome of it’s recommendations.

This book doesn’t claim to have discovered another new methodology for software or business development, but takes us back to first principles of building sustainable and profitable businesses that people need and love!

Trailblaze

Unless you are a fortune teller, creating roadmaps can be a wasteful exercise.

In “The value framework”, I propose that firms must follow Adaptive Iterative Development as opposed to Planned Iterative Development (Otherwise called Roadmaps).

Think of “Roadmapping” as a verb, and as an alternative strategy that is designed to continously validate the product.

Here’s my four step process for trailblazing and creating a roadmap as a by-product!
